How to use

Step-by-step guide to every feature

Follow these short walkthroughs to set up monitors, triage alerts, and get the most out of your plan — from first sign-up to audit log exports.

Step 1 of 8

Get started in 5 minutes

Create an account, finish onboarding, and land in your dashboard ready to add your first monitor.

  1. 1

Go to Sign up, enter email + password (or use Google), and verify your account.

  2. 2

    Onboarding

Pick your use case and add the first page URL you want to monitor — you can skip and do it later.

  3. 3

    Open the dashboard

You'll land on Dashboard with KPI cards, urgent alerts, and quick links to add monitors.

  4. 4

    Pick a plan

Open Billing to choose Starter, Growth, or Agency — you can switch any time.

Tip: Starter is enough to evaluate; upgrade when you need hourly checks, more monitors, or the audit log.

Step 2 of 8

Create & manage monitors

A monitor is a URL we check on a schedule. Each check stores a versioned snapshot (text + screenshot).

  1. 1

    Open Monitors

From the sidebar click Monitors. You'll see your usage (e.g. 3 / 25) at the top.

  2. 2

    Add monitor

Click 'Add monitor', paste the URL, name it, pick a folder/workspace, and choose a check frequency allowed on your plan.

  3. 3

    Set a baseline

We auto-baseline on the first successful check. You can re-baseline any time from the monitor's menu.

  4. 4

    Bulk actions

Select multiple monitors to pause, resume, move folder, or re-baseline at scale.

  5. 5

    Edit or delete

Open a monitor → Settings to update URL, name, frequency, or delete it.

Tip: Frequency options depend on your plan: Starter = daily, Growth = 6h, Agency = hourly.

Step 3 of 8

Review snapshots & diffs

Every check is a snapshot. When content changes we generate a word-level diff with before/after evidence.

  1. 1

    Open a monitor

Click any monitor row to view its history timeline.

  2. 2

    Compare versions

Pick any two snapshots to see a side-by-side diff with highlighted additions, removals, and screenshot overlay.

  3. 3

    Inspect categories

Each change is tagged: price, feature, policy, layout, or messaging — filter the timeline by category.

  4. 4

    Re-baseline

If a change is intentional and you want to silence repeated alerts, click 'Set as baseline'.

Step 4 of 8

Triage alerts

Alerts are evidence-first: every alert links to the exact diff and screenshot that triggered it.

  1. 1

    Open Alerts

Sidebar → Alerts. Use the filters: severity, category, monitor, status.

  2. 2

    Open an alert

Click the alert to see the diff, screenshot, and the monitor it came from.

  3. 3

    Mark useful or dismiss

Mark Useful to keep it in your reporting, or Dismiss to suppress noise. You can add a note for context (Agency+).

  4. 4

    Bulk triage

Select multiple alerts to dismiss or mark useful together — speeds up daily reviews.

Tip: Set Slack/webhook delivery so urgent alerts come to you instead of you checking the inbox.

Step 5 of 8

Connect Slack, webhooks & email digests

Route alerts and digests to where your team already works.

  1. 1

    Open Settings → Integrations

Choose Slack, generic Webhook, or Email digest.

  2. 2

    Slack

Click Connect Slack, pick the channel, and choose which severities to push (e.g. high + critical only).

  3. 3

    Webhook

Paste your endpoint URL and signing secret — we sign every payload and retry on failure.

  4. 4

    Email digest

Pick daily or weekly, add recipients, and choose categories to include.

Step 6 of 8

Workspaces & folders

Organize monitors per client, brand, or competitor so dashboards and reports stay clean.

  1. 1

    Create a workspace

Settings → Workspaces → New. Name it after the client or brand.

  2. 2

    Add folders

Inside a workspace, create folders (e.g. 'Pricing pages', 'Competitor A').

  3. 3

    Invite teammates

Settings → Members → Invite. Assign role: Admin, Editor, or Viewer.

  4. 4

    Switch context

Use the workspace picker in the sidebar to scope all views to one client.

Step 7 of 8

Use the executive dashboard

A daily glance at urgent alerts, monitor health, and category trends.

  1. 1

    Open Dashboard

Sidebar → Dashboard. KPI cards show alerts today, by severity, and monitor health.

  2. 2

    Drill in

Click any KPI card to jump to the filtered alerts or monitors view.

  3. 3

    Export

Use Export to download a CSV for stakeholder reporting.

Step 8 of 8

Run competitive analysis

Turn monitored competitors into a live comparison board with pricing trends and a move timeline.

  1. 1

    Tag monitors as competitors

On any monitor, set type = 'Competitor' and assign it to a competitor folder so it joins the analysis board.

  2. 2

    Open Competitive analysis

Sidebar → Competitive analysis. You'll see all competitors side-by-side with their latest plans, prices, and policies.

  3. 3

    Compare plans & features

Switch to the matrix view to stack pricing tiers and feature lists across competitors in one grid.

  4. 4

    Review the move timeline

The timeline tab shows every detected change chronologically with the before/after evidence attached.

  5. 5

    Track pricing trends

Open the Trends tab to chart per-plan price history and direction over time.

  6. 6

    Export a brief

Export a weekly competitor brief as CSV or PDF to share with PMM, sales, or leadership.

Tip: Growth plan unlocks up to 5 competitor boards; Agency unlocks unlimited boards with shareable client reports.
